    Going extreme with abortion.

    On December 29, 2020–just after Christmas–the Democrat-controlled legislature in Massachusetts overrode Governor Charlie Baker’s veto of the state’s most radical abortion bill ever. Even Gov. Baker, who is pro-abortion, thought it was too extreme. Abortions used to be legal up until 24 weeks in the Bay State. That restriction has been eliminated, even though the majority of Massachusetts voters oppose allowing late-term abortions. H5179 was passed to legalize abortion throughout the entire pregnancy, for any reason (described as saving “the physical or mental health” of the patient, which could be any justification as with the Supreme Court’s Doe v. Bolton ruling). The bill refuses even to acknowledge women, never mentioning ‘woman’ or ‘mother’ one time. If legislators refuse to recognize that women exist, how much more will an industry not care for them and their unique biological reality?

    The majority (62%) of voters in the state also believe that minors should have parental consent before obtaining an abortion. Regardless, legislators defied their own constituents and passed H5179 which erases parental consent for any minor 16 and older. Yet, 16 and 17 year olds have to have a parent with them to simply go to a tanning salon in Massachusetts.

    Pro-abortion legislators passed this radical bill under the false claims of the “immediate preservation of public health.” Abortion is fake health. The consequences of elective abortions are thoroughly documented. So-called “women’s rights” should include a woman’s right to know the emotional, physical, and psychological effects of abortion. The abortion industry (led by Planned Parenthood) pretends none exist and finds to suppress the well-known information. They don’t trust women or men with the truth about abortion.
